Is the full game out?
No. Steam app 3797790 still shows Coming soon as of 2026-10-26. The playable build most people mean is the Abyssal Lapidary Demo (app 4736580), live since 16 Oct 2026.
Who made it?
Full store credits: developer Light Worm, publisher XD. Demo store lists developer LightWorm and publishers LightWorm, XD. We copy Steam’s spelling on each page.
Why do my gems keep breaking?
Usually the tool processing level is too close to the gem. Set tools to the surrounding rock; stay two+ levels under the gem’s relevant stat when possible. See gem cutting and the Steam breakage thread.
Can I do hardness 1–2 gems in the demo?
Players advise against it — polishing wheel / fine cleanup tools are missing from the demo. Marked as community advice.
What is a “square cut”?
Players ask about acquiring a square cut for commissions; cut shape is an official commission field (patch 0.2.11). Whether “square” is a single recipe or a category of faceting methods is not fully documented by the store — check Codex entries in your build.
